Synopsis

Mrs. X arranges a slumber party for Tuesday; during it, the family begins to fight Glowface. Tuesday tries to cover up the truth about her family.

Plot

Tuesday uses her new cloaking technology to find a good outfit for the mall. Before she can head out, though, Mrs. X tells her of a slumber party she has arranged, based on an off handed comment Tuesday made months ago. Mrs. X also notes that if the guests find out they are spies, SUPERIOR will transfer the family to the bottom of the ocean (there is no underwater base). Tuesday quickly changes into pajamas as her guests arrive: Skipper, a stuck-up valley girl; Annasthesia, a goth; and Kimla, a sci-fi nerd (Mrs. X promised each fifty dollars to attend).

Because of the clashing personalities, Tuesday struggles to find a common activity the girls can do together, but soon discovers they all love gossiping about boys. The rest of the X family continually interrupts the party in ways that would reveal themselves as spies: Mr. X offers to show the girls their dossiers about themselves, Mrs. X tries to play games like hand-to hand combat or interrogate the enemy, and Truman uses a remote that causes the girls to fart uncontrollably. Tuesday deals with each of them, but soon after an alarm is triggered, warning that Glowface is attacking from space.

After herding the party into her bedroom, Tuesday is told by Mr. X that the house is being launched into orbit to fight off Glowface. After takeoff, Tuesday returns to her room and blames the shaking on a sudden earthquake. She continually goes back and forth, ordering her family to have a “quiet space battle.” Annasthesia grows suspicious, but notes that she likes the strangeness. Tuesday tries to brush it off, but Mrs. X, dressed in space gear, enters looking for her plasma blaster. Tuesday grabs it, calling it a hair dryer, but Skipper takes it to use on her hair, only giving it back when told it would give her “mom hair.” As the battle rages on outside, Tuesday turns on the television as a distraction, which is displaying the space fight. Kimla states it looks cheesy, and that you can “totally see the wires.” The ensuing explosions knock out the power. Tuesday takes advantage of this and orders the girls to bed while she joins her family in the fight.

As Tuesday fires at the enemy ship with proton blasters, Mr. X realizes Glowface is not firing back. Just then, the house is hit, and Glowface enters, electrocuting the family with a ray gun. As he gloats about defeating the “spy family,” the slumber party girls enter, shocked at the sight of an evil villain and a spaceship outside the window. Tuesday at first nervously tries to explain everything, but seeing she isn’t getting anywhere, she opts to put on a gas mask and throw a smoke bomb at the girls, knocking them out. A little confused, Glowface returns to attacking the family, but is stopped when a giant alien appears before him. He drops his weapon and begs for mercy. The alien reverts back into Tuesday (she was using her cloaking device), who captures Glowface in a net. Having won the battle, the house heads back to Earth.

Tuesday and her parents wake up the girls the next morning. Their heads hurt, but they think the previous night’s events were just a dream. Truman then barges in, bragging about the space battle. The girls are astonished, but the X’s to throw another smoke bomb at them, knocking them back out.
